They have the ability to detect very fine pits, flaws, and porosity in materials without having to destroy the material or parts being tested. This is done by converting the transit time of a sound wave, sent into and reflecting back from a defect or opposite surface in the test material, into a length measurement. This technique uses principles similar to that of sonar.We also manufacture a line of ultrasonic bolting equipment that very accurately measures the stress, elongation, and load in threaded fasteners. These products are typically used in critical bolting applications where extreme accuracy is needed. Her bebeğin 9 ay 10 gün anne rahiminde geçirmesi en ideal durumken, herşeye rağmen erken doğumlar oluyor.Erken doğum son adet tarihinden sonra 37. haftaya kadar olan doğumları kapsıyor. Tek çocuk bekleyenlerde %10 oranında görülürken ikiz hamileliklerde bu oran artıyor. 17 yaşın altı ve 35 yaş üstü anne adayları da erken doğum riski ile karşı karşıya.
Tıpta ve son yıllarda ülkemizde yaşanan gelişmelere bağlı olarak artık daha fazla prematüre bebek hayatta kalabiliyor. Bir kaç yıl öncesine kadar prematüre bebekler için yaşam sınırı 27 haftayken, günümüzde bu sınır 24 haftaya kadar indi. Ancak, erken doğan bebeklerin önemli bir kısmı tam hazır olmadan dünyaya gelmelerinin olumsuz sonuçlarını yaşıyorlar. Bu nedenle doğum uzmanları dünyanın her yerinde erken doğum riski taşıyan bebeklerin bir kaç hafta, hatta bir kaç gün daha geç doğmalarını sağlamak için, ellerinden geleni yapıyorlar. Yapılan çalışmalar geciktirilen her gün için bebeklerin yaşama şanslarının arttığını gösteriyor. Ancak her şeye karşın erken doğumu yaşayan birçok kadın var.

Bebeklerin neden erken doğdukları konusunda tek bir sebep yoktur. Bu olay çoğunlukla birçok nedene bağlı olabilir. Ege Bölgesi’nde Muğla İline bağlı bir ilçe olan Datça’nın doğusunda Marmaris, kuzey, güney ve batısı Ege Denizi ile çevrilidir. Yörede Knidos ve bugünkü Datça’nın bulunduğu yerdeki Eski Knidos antik kentleri bulunuyordu. Knidoslular M.Ö.IV.yüzyılın ortalarına kadar Datça’nın kuzey doğusundaki yarımadada yaşamışlar, sonra da bugünkü yere yerleşmişlerdir. Teselya’dan gelen göçmenler sonraki yıllarda Datça Yarımadasının güney ucuna taşınarak orada yeniden kurdukları kentte yaşamlarını sürdürmüşlerdir. Herodot’a göre Spartalı’lar Knidos’u bir koloni kenti olarak kurmuşlardır. Zamanla güçlü bir konuma gelen Knidos, komşu kentleri Lindos, Kamiros, İassos, Kos, Halikarnasos ve Delos ile birlikte Dor Hekapolisini oluşturmuşlardır. Fenikeliler ile denizcilikte yarışacak kadar ilerlemişlerdir. Knidoslular gün geçtikçe genişleme politikası güden Lydialılara karşı bir önlem olarak Reşadiye Yarımadası’nı karadan ayıracak kanalın yapımına başlamışlar, ancak M.Ö.546’daki Pers saldırısı nedeniyle tamamlayamamışlardır. Büyük İskender’in ölümünden sonra Datça’daki Knidoslular Roma imparatorluğu ile Seleukos Kralı III.Antiokhos arasındaki savaşta Roma’nın tarafını tutmuş, bu nedenle de Bergama Krallığı’na katılmıştır. Bizans döneminde sönük bir yerleşim olarak varlığını sürdürmüştür. Bir süre piskoposluk merkezi olmuş, M.S.VII.yüzyılda tamamen terk edilmiştir. Datça yöresi Muğla ile birlikte XII.yüzyılda Selçukluların hakimiyetine girmiş; Uç Beylerinden Menteşe Bey tarafından 1284’de ele geçirilmiştir. Yörede bir beylik kuran Menteşeoğulları yaklaşık 200 yıl boyunca burada egemenliklerini sürdürmüşlerdir. Yıldırım Beyazıt tarafından 1391’de Osmanlı topraklarına katılmış ancak, Ankara Savaşı’nın (1402) ardından Timur’un hakimiyetine girmiştir. Timur bu yöreyi tekrar Menteşe Beyliği’ne vermiş, daha sonra tekrar 1392'de Osmanlı topraklarına katılmıştır. Cumhuriyet döneminde, 1928 yılında ilçe olmuş, 1947 yılında ilçe merkezi Reşadiye Mahallesi’nden İskele Mahallesi’ne nakledilmiştir. İlçede günümüze gelebilen tarihi eserler arasında; Knidos Antik kenti kalıntıları vardır.

HAWAİİ

Hawaii ya da Havai, ABD'nin eyaletlerinden birisidir. Kuzey Büyük Okyanus'da, anakaradan 3.700 kilometre uzaklıkta, bir adalar grubudur.M.Ö. 1000 sıralarında diğer polonezya adaları tarafından işgal edilmiştir. Yaklaşık 800 yıl boyunca çeşitli kabileler buraya yerleşmiş, huzur içinde kültürlerini ve dinlerini devam ettirmişlerdir. 1778 yılında İngiliz Deniz Kaptanı Jam Cook, Hawaii takımadasına yelken açmış ve ilk Avrupa-Hawaii ilişkisini yaratmıştır. Yine de tarihçiler bu adaya Avrupa'dan ilk gidenin bir İspanyol olduğunu tartışırlar. Avrupa ile ilişkiler sonucu bazı krallar tüm Hawaii adalarının kontrolünü almaya çalışmışlardır. Örneğin, ünlü Kamehameha Avrupalılarla ticaret yaparak onlardan barutlu silahlar elde etmiştir. Hawaii'de bilinmeyen barut teknolojisi sayesinde Kamehameha yavaş yavaş tüm adaları işgal edebilmiştir. Ona karşı çıkan bazı kabileler, oklarla ve mıraklarla kendi ülkelerini koruyamadıklarından, çareyi yüksek uçurumlardan atlamakta bulmuşlardır. İntihar, onlar için teslim olmaktan çok daha iyi idi.
Kamehameha'nın kazandığı topraklar ancak 1893'e kadar dayanabilmiştir. Son kral olan Liliuokalani, Hawaii Reform Partisi (Reform Party of the Hawaiian Kingdom) tarafından yıkılmıştır. Son diktatörlükten sonra bir cumhuriyet kurulmuş, ve dış ülkelere kapalı olan Hawaii ticareti, dünya ekonomisine katılarak üretimini ve ticaretini büyük ölçüde geliştirmiştir. Son olarak 1898'de Amerika himayesi altına girip, 1959'da bir referandumla Amerika Birleşik Devletleri'nin 50. ve sonuncu eyaleti olmuştur.

İTALYA GARDA GÖLÜ

Baldo tepesine teleferikle çıkarak nefes kesen panoramanın tadını çıkarın.

BERLİN

Berlin, Almanya'nın başkenti ve en büyük şehridir. II.Dünya Savaşı öncesinde 4.3 milyon kişinin yaşadığı şehirde 2005 itibariyla 3.4 milyon kişi yaşamaktadır. Berlin, kuzey Almanya'da, Spree ve Havel nehirlerinin arasındaki kumluk bölgeye kuruludur. 1949'dan 1990'a kadar Doğu ve Batı Berlin olarak ikiye ayrılmıştı. Aradaki duvara da sonradan utanç duvarı denmiştir. Kasım 1989'da utanç duvarı yıkıldıktan sonra Berlin tekrar bir bütün olmuştur. Şimdi, Almanya'nın yeni başkenti insanlarının ve şehrin yaralarını sarıyor. 750 yıllık Berlin "geriye doğru ileri" gitmeye çalışıyor.Berlin'in doğu tarafında yoğun bir restorasyon yaşanıyor ve kenti ikiye bölen Spree Nehri, sakin ve berrak akıyor. Berlin bu nehrin iki kıyısında, Cölln ve Berlin adlı iki balıkçı köyü olarak bölünmüş bir haldeydi zaten. İlk kez 1307 yılında birleşti. Brandenburg'un (sonra Prusya'nın) başkentiydi. 18. yüzyıla kadar o kadar mühim bir şehir değildi. Ancak Prusya'nın güçlenmesi sürecinde kuzey Almanya, sonra Avrupa'nn bir siyasi, iktisadi ve kültürel merkezi oldu. 1871 yılında Alman İmaparatorluğu'na bağlandı, Hitler zamanında harabeye döndü, müttefik devletler tarafından işgal edildi.İkinci Dünya Savaşı'ndan sonra Sosyalist bölümü Doğu Berlin oldu. Kentin imparatorluk merkezi Mitte'de doğuda kaldı. Berlin'i inşa eden mimar Karl Friederich Schinkel'in tasarladığı binalar, büyükelçilikler, saraylar, müzeler hep o tarafta kaldı. Türkiye'den çalınan Bergama Sunağı'nın sergilendiği dünyanın en önemli müzelerinden biri olan Bergama Müzesi, Cölln ile Berlin'i birleştiren anlaşmanın yapıldığı St. Nicholas Kilisesi de Doğu Berlin'de kaldı. Kent tekrar birleştiğinde Berlin her şeyin çiftine sahip oldu. İki parlamento binası, iki büyük üniversite, iki büyük havaalanı, iki kent merkezi ve iki Mısır müzesi... Müzeler Adası, Kültür Forumu ve Dahlem'deki müze ve koleksiyonlar dünya çapında önem taşıyor. Berlin, sanat alanında da dünyanın en önemli şehirleri arasında. Üç opera, Filarmoni, birçok tiyatro, konser salonu ve kütüphanenin yanı sıra; Berlin Film Festivali, festival haftaları ve tiyatro günleri, tüm sanatseverleri Berlin'e çekiyor.Türkler Berlin'deki en kalabalık yabancı nüfusunu oluştururlar. Berlin'de 119.000 Türk vardır. Kreuzberg İlçesi Türklerin en yoğun olarak yerleşik olduğu bölgelerdendir. Kreuzberg'in toplam nüfusu 146.884 kişidir ve bunun 49.010'u yabancıdır. Yabancı sayısı Alman vatandaşı Türkleri kapsamadığından, Kreuzberg'deki Türk sayısı oldukça fazladır.Kültür Berlin Almanya'nın sadece politik başkenti değil, aynı zamanda da kültür başkentidir. Berlin'de birçok müze bulunmaktadır. Özellikle kentin doğusunda yeralan Müzeler Adası (Museumsinsel) içinde Pergamon Müzesi'de dahil, birçok müzeyi barındırmaktadır. Ayrıca kentte çok sayıda sanat galerileri, tiyatrolar vs. vardır.
